Hi, I’m a human resource (HR) expert who specialises in the field of change, TUPE and employee engagement.

I’ve worked in the field of HR covering a variety of sectors for 11 years, 6 of which have been within an outsourced environment.  I am a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and a qualified organisational coach and mentor specialising in leadership, performance and career coaching.

During my time working in outsourcing I completed a number of public to private sector TUPE transfers and integrated employees into the existing business, whilst getting involved in setting up a new business function.

I set up James HR Consultancy Ltd during 2015 after an unexpected diagnosis of bowel cancer which turned my life upside-down.  I was determined to make a positive difference to support businesses, cancer patients and those impacted or affected by cancer within the workplace, and after careful planning I created a Cancer Employment Advice Service.

My vision of James HR Consultancy is to build a fantastic, credible reputation with clients as the “go to” HR consultancy when faced with change.  I’m passionate about developing and supporting people within the workplace.  My advice and implementation solutions are practical, pragmatic and aligned to the commercial needs of the business.
