Sad, but interesting article. Thanks Mary :).Being Swedish I believe it’s probably the same here, even though I don’t have any recent research to refer to. But Social Media can – and has proven at times as well – alienate us instead of bringing us together. It can lead to a feeling of exclusion when your posts and/or comments aren’t liked. But I think we all have a mission here, keep liking and sharing positive posts and news. And also, whenever possible reflect on how we interact with children and young people. Just small steps, but yet so important, I believe.

September 3, 2018 at 10:26 pm #15635This is truly a touching interview, thanks for this post. Having also listened to Dr. Sonja Stribling at the Global Woman Summit in New York I was really happy to see that now even more people can read about her and be inspired by her work. Thanks to @saira at the BWT Magazine!
September 3, 2018 at 10:19 pm #15634Wonderful, Mary and ”hottest” in many different ways.
Yes, I’m going to be there and are so looking forward to meeting some of our the bwt members there and participating in this amazing conference.September 3, 2018 at 10:14 pm #15633Great article, thanks for sharing this Mary. It really makes me wonder about the rest of Europe as well. How are we doing, and what could be the shared components that actually ”triggers” female entrepreneurs to get started?
All my best,

August 23, 2018 at 12:24 am #15149Mary, a lot of good things to think about there! And you need to read a lot about your area and then listen to some people you trust to gain knowledge in the beginning.
But then … what I’m thinking when I’m reading your post is authenticity. So in a way, a little bit the other way around. As long as you know that you have a business that has been created from a passion, knowledge and quality that is unique, I think that by being the person you are, you will attract your tribe. So with some other words, by giving and sharing (and of course marketing!) as much as possible of YOU in your business, the people that feel the value of your product(s) and service(s) will show up.August 23, 2018 at 12:08 am #15148My pleasure Mary :)!
August 21, 2018 at 10:42 pm #15145Great tip Mary, and I really do agree. And being a journalist myself, my best tip would be: remember to be silent. Very often we are so eager to ask the next question that we don’t really listen to the silence in between. It’s when you wait a little while – sitting in silence – that the real treasures can show up.
